This production required a variety of locations as we were to follow some very different daily activities. For the spin studio I sourced a location in London that we then kitted out with LED tubes to create the look required. For the interior designer I found a newly refurbished water tower based in Essex and for the plumber we utilised our Director's new house, having just completed his refurb and only just about to move in we were given the OK to take over the place for a day.
The sound design was focused on two parts. The notifications that pop up on screen needed to have associated sound and the actors and their movements required a sound bed to be created. I recorded the spin instructor on location to get her shouting out to the class and also in an adjacent studio on a bike to capture the cleats clicking into the pedals and spin of the wheel.
